Karen Wolton

Solicitor and Principal

Karen qualified as a solicitor in 1995 and began her career as a family lawyer. In 1997 she began work in the field of mental health and has worked exclusively in mental health law ever since. In September 2000 she started the firm of Wolton & Co. Karen has been a speaker at Mental Health Lawyers Association conferences and contributed to their training courses. She is also a Peer Reviewer for the Legal Aid Agency and in this role she is responsible for auditing the work of other mental health firms.

Rachel Sackett

Solicitor

Rachel qualified as a solicitor in 1999 and initially worked in both clinical negligence and mental health law with Harman and Harman Solicitors. Rachel studied mental health law at university and has worked exclusively in mental health law since 2003. Rachel moved to Fairweathers Solicitors in 2006. She Joined Wolton & Co in September 2018. She has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation Scheme since 2003.

Katherine George

Solicitor

Katherine qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and initially worked in both family and mental health law with Harman and Harman Solicitors. She joined Wolton & Co in 2005 to work solely in mental health law. Katherine has a degree in English and French Law. She is fluent in French and has a basic knowledge of German.

Kim Warr

Legal Representative

Kim has worked as a legal assistant for Wolton & Co solicitors since 2000 and qualified onto the Law Society Mental Health Accreditation scheme in 2010. Kim is also a qualified psychiatric nurse (RMN) and general nurse (SRN).
